We are excited to announce that the eMentor Program has made it to the HR.com Winner’s Circle for Best Mentoring Program! We cannot overstate enough how proud and thankful we are of this accomplishment. When we received notification that eMentor made it into the HR.com Winner’s Circle for the fifth time, it validated the hard work of all of our program participants who have been with us on our journey for the last 11 years. It is an extremely humbling and remarkable achievement for our program to be recognized alongside the best of the best, including some of our nation’s top Fortune 500 organizations! To be nominated for this award is a testament to the time, leadership and continued support of our program partners, sponsors, supporters and program participants of the eMentor Program.
We’d like to publicly recognize and thank our mentors, sponsors and supporters for their dedication, patronage and volunteering so that we can positively impact the lives of our military members. Because of you, we are able to sustain a program that offers our program participants stability during uncertain times and life’s transitions. Recognizing your individual efforts is of most importance to us. Thank you, from all of us at eMentor.
What does it mean to be in the LEAD 2019 Winner’s Circle?
Each year, HR.com hosts the LEAD Awards in a major city in the United States. “The Oscars of Leadership” is an annual celebration of global leadership development and training programs implemented by corporate, government, nonprofit and educational organizations, that explore the innovation and best practices in the leadership space. The goal of HR.com’s LEAD award is to engage and promote “A World Inspired.” HR.com honors and awards one organization for its outstanding mentoring program at their LEAD conferences. Each conference sets out to help leaders around the world develop and improve their skills to learn more about how to better their company or organization and ultimately those that they serve.
While we’ve made it to the Winner’s Circle, which is an accomplishment in and of itself, there’s more. HR.com will be holding the annual LEAD Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, March 5th 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah where they will announce the top three award recipients in person. And you can bet that we will be present live at the event! Taking home First, Second, or Third Place prize would be an incredible achievement. The selection process is highly competitive; however, regardless of how we place, we are immensely proud of our program and know that the outcomes of the servicemen and women, military spouses and family members are our greatest accomplishments. eMentor will continue to “Serve Those Who Have Served” and we will be relentless in our pursuit of continued excellence.
We invite you to follow along with us on our Facebook and Twitter accounts during the night of Tuesday, March 5th to find out if we placed in one of the top three spots. Finally, we encourage you to share your amazing accomplishment of being an integral member of an award-winning mentoring program, within your networks and community.
