WEBINAR: Running for Public Office: How Military Women Can Continue to Lead & Serve

This topic is best suited for current, former and future military service women, and military spouses who seek to learn more about running for an elected or political office at the local, state or federal level. Though this topic will be focused on military women, all who are interested welcome to join. This will be a non-partisan discussion.

This webinar will help you discover:
1) Why military women are uniquely qualified to run for public office at the local, state and federal levels.
2) The critical need for women who have already selflessly served our nation, to continue to lead in the public domain.
3) How to get started and the resources available to women who decide to “pick up their pack again” and run for public office.
4) Advice and lessons learned from a military Veteran who ran highly competitive campaigns for both the US House and Senate seats.

Honor Bound is a 501(c)(4) nonpartisan organization that works to inspire women who have served to “pick up their packs again” and become elected leaders. Honor Bound is committed to the leadership development of potential women candidates with a service background and encouraging and better equipping these women to run for public office at the local, state and federal levels. Honor Bound works to promote service to country, hold government responsible, and support policies that build a stronger democracy.

Participants of the collaborative eMentor Webinar Series have the opportunity to submit their profiles into the Professional Profile Directory (PPD). The Professional Profile Directory features the highly sought-after skills, talents and leadership competencies of current and former military officer women, senior enlisted women and degreed military spouses in career transition. Military men joining this webinar are also welcome to submit their profiles.
